About
A Dover firm with a Channel habit.
Two halves to the business. Ordinary town removals across CT16 and CT17, and cross-channel moves that leave through the port most weeks. Neither is a sideline.
What we do
House removals, flat removals and man-and-van work around Dover, Deal and the CT villages. Packing — in two standards, ordinary and export. Storage. House clearance. Small office moves. And removals from Dover to France, Spain, Italy and Portugal.
Why the international side is so big
Geography, mostly. When the ferry terminal is a few minutes from the houses you work in, international removals stop being an occasional special job and become part of the ordinary week. We have learned the customs paperwork properly because we deal with it constantly, not because it looked good on a website.
It also means we are honest about the far end. We know what a Provençal village street does to a seven-and-a-half tonne lorry, and what an Andalucian old town does, because our loads go there.
How we work
Survey first — video for most jobs, in person for the larger ones. A written quote before you commit. Protection down at both ends before anything is carried. And a straight answer when something will not work: if your street will not take a large vehicle, we say so and price the shuttle rather than finding out on the morning.
What we will not do
Quote without knowing what is going. Send an undersized crew and hope. Claim a coverage area we do not actually know — which is why Folkestone is not on our list, even though it is next door and people ask. It has its own firm in this network and that firm knows the tunnel side better than we do.
We also will not put a price on a web page. Volume, distance, access and destination vary far too much for a headline figure to mean anything honest.
Getting hold of us
The quote form is fastest because it asks the things we would otherwise have to ring you about. The contact page has the rest, and most recurring questions are answered on the FAQ.
Planning a move?
Two addresses and a rough idea of what is going is enough to start. If it is heading out through the port, say where it is landing.
